Acquiring your Driver’s License is a straightforward process. It consists of the following:
- Obtain Learner’s Permit (Handbooks sold in the office)
- Take the necessary driving lessons
- Attend the Pre-Licensing Course ONLINE
- Take your road test examination
Our trained instructors are friendly, patient, and experienced, and will teach you everything you need to know in order to successfully pass your road test.
Car Packages
- Car lessons are provided all 7 days of the week, from 8 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to create your own flexible schedule.
- Choose from English or Spanish instructors.
- Pickup service is available (From West 160th Street to West 213th Street, Manhattan only)
- Highway lessons are also available upon request after obtaining your driver’s license.

5 Hour Pre-Licensing Course
The Pre-licensing Course is a mandatory program designed to educate New York State’s new drivers by promoting safe, courteous, defensive, and alcohol/drug-free driving. The course goals are:
- To reduce injuries, crashes, traffic violations and property damage
- To help students become responsible drivers.
- To learn about the dangers of fatigue, alcohol and other drugs on driving ability.
- To develop a positive attitude towards safe and defensive driving.
- To encourage and promote safety belt and child safety seat use.
- To learn how to fit safely into the transportation system with other highway users.
- To familiarize students with the “rules of the road”.
You may choose to attend the 5 Hour movie at any point during your training; however it must be completed before your road test examination.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate to present when you take your road test. This certificate will remain valid for one year.
